Sasha Eastwood is the Immediate Past President of SLANZA, having led the organisation from 2021 to 2023. She has been Librarian and Resource Manager at Manchester Street School in Feilding since 2008. A dedicated advocate for school libraries, she has served on SLANZA’s Central Committee since 2009 and its National Executive since 2018. Sasha champions equitable access to current, relevant resources and believes fostering a love of reading is central to a librarian’s role. For her, the greatest reward is helping young readers find their next favorite book.
