Kirsty is the Southland Representative on the SLANZA National Executive and a past co-President of SLANZA. She has been the Library Manager at James Hargest College in Invercargill for twelve years. Kirsty sees the library as a central entity at any school; pivotal for the development of reading for pleasure and other literacy skills, finding information, encouraging wellbeing, and so many other essential elements of school life.
