Dr Lara Cain Gray is a specialist librarian with expertise in collection curation. She has built her multi-discipline career through roles in libraries and museums, through academic teaching and research, and by pursuing her passion for corporate and creative writing. In her position as Head of Acquisitions at non-profit publisher Library For All, she draws on her deep experience of international librarianship to deliver cross-cultural and multilingual books and educational resources to communities where poverty, history or remoteness prevents children’s access to traditional libraries. Her book The Grown-Up's Guide to Picture Books (2024, MidnightSun Publishing) has been called essential reading for educators.
